Century Campaign
For 113 continuous years the Children’s Fresh Air Home has been making a lasting impression on the deserving children who have walked through its doors. Unfortunately, nearly a century of wear and tear in a seashore environment has taken its toll on the physical structure of our most fundamental resource, the Home. After years of service to children, costly but urgent renovations are necessary.
“Preserving the Exterior... and Rebuilding the Interior”
The Century Campaign has been launched to address the major capital improvements required to ensure the organization’s service to future generations. We are committed to expanding and improving the structure, while maintaining the Home's current external facade, which is treasured both by those associated with the Home and members of the Wildwoods community as a reminder of a bygone era at the Jersey Shore.
Additionally, the planned renovations will allow the Home to become a three-season retreat center. We plan to welcome church and civic groups to utilize the Fresh Air Home by donation during the spring and autumn.
We know we are faced with a challenging task as we work towards raising the funds necessary to meet our goal. We are also filled with tremendous hope that the Home and its mission will thrive for years to come. Please join us as we embark on this exciting journey to preserve the mission of the Children’s Fresh Air Home.
